Robertson Park, Orange

Looking south in Robertson Park, Orange, NSW, towards Summer Street. The park contains a number of memorials dedicated to men who lost their lives in war.
Near the southern end of the park, is a cenotaph, which includes the names of two members of the 2/30 Battalion who lost their lives overseas:
NX27191 - Pte. William Michel Charles HUDSON - BHQ, Intelligence - died 19/12/1943
NX48699 - Pte. Percival Ross KELLY - missing presumed dead 10/2/1942
In the south eastern corner of the park, is a memorial stone and plaque, which commemorates the day that the 2/30 Battalion marched through Orange, prior to leaving for overseas service. Alongside the cairn is a golden elm, Lady G's tree, which was planted at the dedication ceremony on 23rd November, 1991.
