Jungle Grave of Cpl. Richard AMBROSE JOHORE, MALAYA. 1945-09-25. THE JUNGLE GRAVE OF CORPORAL R. AMBROSE, 2/30TH INFANTRY BATTALION KILLED IN ACTION, 1942-01-17. Bluey AMBROSE was killed in action at Fort Rose on 17/1/1942, and buried nearby (Map ref: Gemas 1" 778287). His body was recovered after the war and reburied on 29/6/1946 at Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore in grave 6.D.13.
