Fort Siloso

Fort Siloso is the sole surviving coastal gun battery from the twelve such batteries which made up ‘Fortress Singapore’ at the start of World War Two. The fort is situated on the island of Sentosa (formerly Blakang Mati — the ‘Island behind the Dead’) which is just south of Singapore Island.
