The Largs Bay sailed from
Singapore on 22/9/1945, with members of the Battalion bound for
Queensland.
She was accompanied by Esperance
Bay. The two ships arrived in Darwin on 30/9/1945, and passed
Thursday Island on 3/10/1945. They separated on Sunday, 7/10/1945, when
Largs Bay headed to Brisbane. Esperance Bay continued to
Sydney.
