Writing is not one of my best activities these days as my hand seems to cramp up after a very short period, but, while searching for a rather important paper the other day, I came upon your I.O.U., which I promised to return to you (since you paid the debt promptly after our return, wherupon your Old Man, and you, helped me to liquidate the article concerned; so I am fulfilling the promise.
