Kuching, Sarawak. 1945-09-12. 8th Division personnel, ex-Prisoners-of-War of the Japanese, outside their hut "Australia House" in the Kuching POW and Internment Camp, which they occupied from 1943-06 to 1945-09. Identified personnel are: Sergeant C. B. Lander, 2/18th Infantry Battalion; Corporal G. W. Gunning, 2/2nd Pioneer Battalion; Private (Pte) H. J. P. Riseley, 2/29th Infantry Battalion; Pte R. Kent, 2/20th Infantry Battalion; Pte E. Davis, 2/20th Infantry Battalion; Driver R. Fraser, 2/3rd Motor Transport Company; Driver Stephenson, 2/3rd Motor Transport Reserve Company; Pte D.
