Batu Pahat and 2/30 Battalion Soccer Teams

The Batu Pahat and 2/30 Battalion soccer teams, which played against each other on the padang at Batu Pahat in late 1941.

The Battalion soccer team normally wore white shirts, but as the Batu Pahat team also played in white, the Battalion chose to wear the 2 tone "A" Company jerseys.

The game finished in a 2 all draw. Batu Pahat's 2 goals were scored by their inside left, who was a Malayan International. Jack Salisbury scored the Bn's first goal and George Stephenson scored the equaliser.
