Roll of Honour, 2/30 Bn. "A" Company, 7 Platoon (back)

On the back of the roll of honour there is a brewing recipe.
Hops
Sugar (white or brown)
4 Gals Water (Rain Water)
2 oz Yeast Brewers ? or (2 Bottles Heavy Stout)
Method
Bring water to boil add hops let boil from 20 to 30 minutes.
Mix in Malt & Sugar, let cool to ?blood heat.
Mix yeast in luke warm water and add. Leave for 5-7 days till yeast stops working.
Bottle immediately after. Add ¼ teaspoon of sugar to each bottle. Syphon into bottles.

Keep at blood heat (even temP0
Keep bottles clean.

? Gal water
2? Brown sugar
4 tablespoons Yeast
Boil hops and water for 45 min
Add sugar ? in to earthenware bowl. When luke warm add Yeast let stand for 48 hrs ? strain into bottles let stand for few days before ?
