Who can join the Association?

  • Men who served with the 2/30 Battalion A.I.F.

  • Wives, Widows and relatives (age 18 and over) of original members of the 2/30 Battalion.

  • Cadet members - Descendants aged 12 to 18 years.

  • Special Members - Persons from other Units or with a connected interest in the 2/30 Battalion, eg. 2/15 Fld. Regt., 2/17 RNSWR

How much does it cost?

Makan subscription renewals are due and payable by January 31 each year:

  • $20 for email only distribution

    OR

  • $30 for postal (printed) distribution

To become a member of the Association, a once only Joining Fee is payable.

If you wish to receive Makan, the Official Journal of the Association, then you will also need to pay an annual Subscription Fee.

Current fees and subscriptions are:

Adult Member (over 18 years of age):

A$20.00

Joining Fee, Payable once only

Cadet Member (12 to 18 years of age):

A$  5.00

Joining Fee, Payable once only

Subscription to Makan (optional):

A$20.00

Annual email only Subscription Fee, payable on 1st January

or A$30.00 Annual postal (printed) Subscription Fee, payable on 1st January

Association Badge (optional):

A$  6.00

To join the Association, download and print the membership form MS Word (35kb) or PDF (76kb), fill in your details and forward completed form to secretary@230battalion.org.au or together with your payment to the below address
